As our focus, and that of our customers, is increasingly drawn toward the environment, this certification has became more important. It is the result of months of hard work to improve our environmental management systems, focusing on a reduction in waste and a more efficient use of our resources. Some of these improvements include changing our lighting to LEDs, improving the control, storage and housekeeping of materials, improving the ventilation and filtration of air in the factory and rolling out environmental awareness training to our employees. To maintain our certification we will continue to measure and improve our environmental performance and procedures.
This new certification builds on our ISO 9001 and TS22163 IRIS certification for Quality Management that Dellner Ferrabyrne has held for a number of years.
